The celebration continues with the Pan-Pacific Parade along Kalākaua Avenue from Fort DeRussy Park to Queen Kapiʻolani Park. Colorful costumes, lively performances, drummers, and community groups from Hawaiʻi and countries throughout the Pacific bring energy and excitement to the heart of Waikīkī.
If you’re visiting during this special weekend, these events offer a unique opportunity to experience the culture, history, and community spirit that make Hawaiʻi so special. Guests should be aware that road closures and traffic delays are expected in Waikīkī and downtown Honolulu throughout the weekend. If you plan to drive, allow extra travel time and consider alternate routes when possible. Many of the festivities are within walking distance of The Imperial Hawaii Resort, making it easy to enjoy the celebrations while avoiding much of the traffic.
